Starting off hosting queer parties in Toronto in 2009, Aeryn Pfaff transitioned to DJing in 2012. Along with creating LGBT2S+ underground spaces with his brands ACID and Jackhammer, he is also Toronto’s arm of VAL’s Backdoor party. He’s rocked queer dance floors from Vancouver to Montreal to New York City, in spaces from dive bars to beaches, museums to upscale clubs and even abandoned factories in Mexico City. Last summer he coordinated the first Alternative Pride Toronto festival during Toronto Pride Weekend, and is hoping to throw a second as soon as it’s safe!
